DC Families for Safe Streets is hosting our first meeting specifically for people impacted by traffic violence on Wednesday, October 30. DC Families for Safe Streets is a unique group, in that we have all experienced the same type of trauma and/or loss. It is a bond that we may not have wished for, but one that we can draw strength, community, and understanding from.
This meeting is open to anyone who has experienced traffic violence, regardless of when, where, or how the crash occurred. Anywhere. Any transportation mode. All are welcome for this family-friendly meeting.
