Food for Thought: Nourishing Our Selves Through Difficult Times

Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 7:30pm eastern

Have you been injured or lost a loved one in a traffic crash? Join together with others who have been personally impacted by traffic violence for an enriching discussion about the role food plays in coping.

What was your loved one’s favorite meal? What was that one thing you craved while recuperating in the hospital or rehab facility? Was there a time your grief was so intense you couldn’t eat anything? What are the snacks that brings you comfort?

These are indeed difficult times. Traffic violence. A pandemic. Civil unrest. And so much more. If you’ve been personally impacted by a traffic crash, we hope you’ll join us for this special food-themed evening of mutual support and camaraderie.

Have a personal story, recipe or other tip you would like to share? Please message us at info [at] familiesforsafestreets.org.
