FSS cross-country support community meeting: Nature & Mindfulness

Spring is in the air! If you have lost a loved one or been injured (or care for someone who was) in a traffic crash, please join together with Families for Safe Streets members from across the country as we embark on a nourishing nature and mindfulness experience.We’ll be guided virtually by Joanie and Veronika, practitioners of Shinrin-Yoku, a popular healing modality often referred to as forest therapy. Feel free to join us from a park, garden, beach, forest – or indoors from home.

GWU Hospital: Virtual Trauma Survivors Group
Thursday April 29, 2021 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm eastern
This virtual meeting hosted by the George Washington University Hospital is open to all trauma survivors, family members and loved ones. It is a space where people can connect with other people who have experienced similar circumstances.

Families for Safe Streets chapters in the Greater Washington, DC region invite you to share your story as a loved one, or survivor, of a serious crash. Our goal is to collect stories that tell the personal impact of traffic violence. These stories can offer comfort to other victims and loved ones.
