Advocacy opportunity: Submit your written testimony for budget oversight

Every spring, the Mayor submits her budget to the DC Council, and the Council will hold budget oversight hearings for District agencies. Read our testimonies from April for the Department of Motor Vehicles (the main implementing agency for the recently passed STEER Act) and the District Department of Transportation.

Members can still submit written testimony for both agencies until Friday, May 3, 2024 at 5:30pm (click the “Submit Testimony” button on the top right corner) at the following links:

Please don’t hesitate to contact us at DCFamiliesForSafeStreets [at] gmail.com if you’d like to work with someone to brainstorm or copyedit your personal testimony.
