FSS cross-country support community meeting: Power of Poetry

Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 1:00pm eastern

If you have lost a loved one or been injured (or care for someone who was) in a traffic crash, please join us for a cross-country support community event for an opportunity to connect, reflect, and support each other using poetry as our vehicle.

Share a poem or song lyrics you have discovered (or maybe even written) which provide solace, renewal, recognition, connection, comfort, etc. None come to mind? That’s ok too… join us for inspiration!

We will create a bibliography of favorite poets, poems, poetry collections and more.

MUST RSVP TO GET LOG-IN DETAILS: https://forms.gle/pxLMfTgw3VF2M57U9 Please feel free to share the Facebook event.

Share Your Story

Ongoing throughout July

Families for Safe Streets chapters in the Greater Washington, DC region invite you to share your story as a loved one, or survivor, of a serious crash. Our goal is to collect stories that tell the personal impact of traffic violence. These stories can offer comfort to other victims and loved ones.
