FSS Cross-Country Support Community Meeting: The Post-Crash Path and What We Carry

Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 7:00pm eastern via Zoom

If you or a loved one has been injured in a crash, join peers from chapters across the country and nationally recognized trauma resilience expert Julie Kurtz for guided conversation and strategies to help understand the brain and body’s response to crashes, learn techniques for centering and strategies to build resilience. As always this event will include time to connect and support each other.

GWU Hospital: Virtual Trauma Survivors Group

Thursday, September 23 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm via Zoom

This virtual meeting hosted by the George Washington University Hospital is open to all trauma survivors, family members and loved ones. It is a space where people can connect with other people who have experienced similar circumstances.

Families for Safe Streets chapters in the Greater Washington, DC region invite you to share your story as a loved one, or survivor, of a serious crash. Our goal is to collect stories that tell the personal impact of traffic violence. These stories can offer comfort to other victims and loved ones.
