FSS Cross-Country Support Community Meeting: Crash Survivors: Changing perceptions of your post-crash body

On Saturday, July 15, local legend, parent, juggler, ray of sunshine, bicycle hero, and friend Dzhoy Zuckerman was murdered while traveling by bike. Join friends on Thursday, July 20 at 6:30pm rain or shine at Dupont Circle. Wheels up at 7pm for a slow 5 mile ride in their honor to 3rd St and Quackenbos St NW.

GWU Hospital: Virtual Trauma Survivors Group

Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8pm via Zoom

This virtual meeting hosted by the George Washington University Hospital is open to all trauma survivors, family members and loved ones. It is a space where people can connect with other people who have experienced similar circumstances.

FSS National: Quarterly Peer Mentoring Training

Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm via Zoom

FSS Peer Mentoring provides bereaved family members, those seriously injured, and their caregivers, with a connection to a volunteer peer support mentor. FSS mentors are all individuals who have been through similar experiences and are dedicated to helping others survive these life-altering tragedies. If you are interested in becoming a peer mentor – or just want to learn more about this process

Regional FSS Meet Up

Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at Wunder Garten

Join members from DC, Northern Virginia, and Montgomery County chapters for an in-person, regional meet up at Wunder Garten (1101 First Street NE). There may be a brief agenda, but this is an opportunity for folks among the regional chapters to get together. People personally impacted and not involved with a chapter are also welcome to attend.
